June Workout Plan: Week 1

June workout plan week 1 is a workout program to challenge you to stay active this summer.

I love summer! Warm weather and sunshine makes everything right in the world for me.

When summer comes that usually means more time outside. It also likely means less workouts because being outside is so much better. So I thought why not combine outside time with fitness. As we already know, we don’t have to go to a gym to get in a good workout. So this month, let’s take our workouts outside, even if it’s just on your condo patio or in your backyard. For more fun, grab a friend, or loved one, and take your fitness to the local park.

I’ve got 2 workouts for you each week for the month of June. I left some room for other fun outdoor activities likes swimming, biking, hiking, and paddle boarding to name a few.

Here’s your workout schedule for the June workout plan week 1.

All workouts give you a total body workout because I’m all for efficiency. You won’t need any equipment either. Maybe just a mat if you’re like me and don’t like to sit or lay in grass. It makes me sooo itchy.

Outdoor Workouts for the Summer!

Warm up with 5-7 minutes of walking or jogging around the park.

Cool down with 5-7 minutes of walking around the park. Then stretch.

Rest 24 hours between workouts. You can always walk the dog, and do other activities on your non-exercise days.

Don’t forget to drink water especially if it’s hot where you are. Staying and feeling hydrated is key.

    I really love this workout! I am definitely looking to mix up my routine this summer, so this should be a really great start! I love how you don’t need equipment. I am have a super TINY gym in my apartment building that works some days…but others I just need a little bit more! Thanks for this plan! I really love your blog! =)
